  1. What programs are offered at Florida United for U13–U19?
    Florida United offers two elite pathways in the U13–U19 age groups: Girls Academy (GA) and Girls Academy Aspire. This structure allows us to keep a focused, high-performance environment while building a clear, performance-based pathway for player development and advancement.
  2. What is the Girls Academy (GA)?
    The Girls Academy is a national youth development platform for elite female soccer players, built around high standards in coaching, competition, and regional/national showcase events.   3. What is Girls Academy Aspire?
    Girls Academy Aspire is a tier two league within the Girls Academy ecosystem. Aspire was designed to strengthen the overall development pyramid and serve as a critical bridge between the GA’s top-tier league and the highly competitive landscape of elite youth soccer.   4. How do GA and Aspire work together at Florida United?
    Florida United runs GA and Aspire as one integrated development pathway. Players are placed in the environment that best matches their stage of development, and movement between Aspire and GA is based on performance, development progression, training consistency, and competitive readiness. Our goal is always the same: put each player in the right environment and build a clear pathway to the highest level.
  5. What age groups participate?
    U13 through U19 girls.
  6. Who can try out for Florida United?
    All players are welcome to attend tryouts. Florida United is open to players across South Florida and beyond. Teams are formed based on ability, development potential, and overall fit within our environment.

    Florida United is led by a highly qualified technical staff committed to elite player development. Our coaches and leadership are focused on creating an exceptional daily environment, long-term player progression, and strong support for the college recruiting process.
  8. Why should we play for Florida United?

    Currently, three Florida United players are competing professionally in the NWSL.

  9. What does travel look like for league games and showcases?
    Players typically travel with their parents to regular season games and showcase events. Florida United does not require teams to travel together or require players to stay together in hotels.
  10. How is player exposure and identification supported?
    Players gain exposure through league competition, showcase events, college coach attendance, and video. The Girls Academy platform is also designed to highlight and identify top talent through league-led talent identification opportunities.

    Note: GA & Aspire teams follow the same training window per age group. Goalkeeper training runs alongside team training.
